Pollution of the oceans affects the world because we eat many of the organisms in the oceans. These organisms are poisoned by pollution and we sometimes ingest them which in turn poisons us. Also pollution of the ocean is slowly destroying the habitats and causing dramatic changes to our enviorments outside of the ocean.
