Science A king's crown has a volume of 110cm3 and a mass of 1,800g. The density of gold is 19.3g/cm3. Is the crown pure gold? Asked by Dr. John Carmen on 03 Jan 02:36 Last updated by anonymous on 01 Jan 23:21
Actually, it is not. The density of teh crown is equal to mass/volume. Which means 1800g/110cm3 which equals 16.36g/cm3. So, no, it is not all gold.
