Steppes are dry cold grassy area that can be found in the US. It is characterized by low humidity and generally ae located away from the ocean and closer to mountains. The savanna is a rolling grassland that is situationed somewhere betweeen a tropical rainforest and a desert. They are warm year round, but go tghrough a very long dry season and a very wet season. Both are good places for grassland and sustain many animals that require grasses. They differ in their locations and their temperatures.
