The Crucible What is the symbolic significance of the dagger outside Rev. Parris' house? Asked by jmorales80 on 05 Jan 00:48 Last updated by Jill W on 21 Jul 11:06
The dagger serves as a symbol of violence.... a threat against Parris' life, as well as an acknowledgement that he will face retribution for the violence he has done to others by taking part in the accusations against innocent people.
