x^2 + x - 30 = 0

(x )(x ) ( -5)( +6)=0

(x-5) (x+6) = 0

Solve:

(x-5) =0

x-5+5 =0+5

x=5

Solve:

(x+6) = 0

x+6-6 = 0-6

x=-6
