5x + 5y = - 5

5x-5x + 5y = - 5-5x

5y = - 5-5x

5y/5 = - 5-5x/5

y=-1-x

- 5x + 5y = 5

- 5x + 5(-1-x) = 5

- 5x + 5(-1) (5)(-x) = 5

- 5x -5 -5x = 5

-5 -10x = 5

-5 -10x+5 = 5+5

-10x=10

-10x/-10=10/-10

x=-1

y=-1-x

y=-1--1=-1+1=0
