- 3x + 5y = 5

- 3x+3x + 5y = 5+3x

5y = 5+3x

5y/5 = 5+3x/5

y=1+.6x

- 9x + 3y = 3

- 9x + 3(1+.6x)= 3

- 9x + 3(1) (3)(+.6x)= 3

- 9x + 3 +1.8x= 3

- 7.2x + 3= 3

- 7.2x + 3-3= 3-3

-7.2x=0

-7.2x/-7.2=0/-7.2

x=0

y=1+.6x

y=1+.6(0)

y=1+0=1
