2x+5y=32

2x+5y-5y=32-5y

2x=32-5y

2x/2=32-5y/2

x=16-2.5y

2x + 3y = 20

2(16-2.5y) + 3y = 20

2(16) (2)(-2.5y) + 3y = 20

32 -5y + 3y = 20

32 -2y= 20

32 -2y-32= 20-32

-2y=-12

-2y/-2=-12/-2

y=6

x=16-2.5y

x=16-2.5(6)

x=16-15=1
