3x + 3y = - 3
3x-3x + 3y = - 3-3x
3y = - 3-3x
3y/3 = - 3-3x/3
y=-1-x
2x + 3y = - 5
2x + 3(-1-x) = - 5
2x + 3(-1) (3)(-x) = - 5
2x-3-3x=-5
-3-x=-5
-3-x+3=-5+3
-x=-2
-x/-1=-2 /-1
x=2
y=-1-x
y=-1-2=-3
