2x - 5y = 63
2x - 5y+5y = 63+5y
2x= 63+5y
2x/2= 63+5y/2
x=31.5+2.5y
- 2x - 5y = 27
- 2(31.5+2.5y) - 5y = 27
- 2(31.5) (-2)(+2.5y) - 5y = 27
-63-5y- 5y = 27
-63-10y= 27
-63-10y+63= 27+63
-10y=90
-10y/-10=90/-10
y=-9
x=31.5+2.5y
x=31.5+2.5(-9)
x=31.5-22.5=-9
