2x + y = 2
2x + y-2x = 2-2x
y= 2-2x
- 8x + 2y = - 8
- 8x + 2(2-2x) = - 8
- 8x + 2(2) (2)(-2x) = - 8
-8x+4-4x=-8
-12x+4=-8
-12x+4-4=-8-4
-12x=-12
-12x/-12=-12/-12
x=1
y= 2-2x
y= 2-2(1)
y=2-2=0
