2x + 2y -2y= 28-2y
2x=28-2y
2x/2=28/2-2y/2
x=1-y
5x - 2y = 28
5(1-y) - 2y = 28
5(1) (5)(-y) - 2y = 28
5-5y- 2y = 28
5-7y = 28
5-7y-5 = 28-5
-7y=23
-7y/-7=23/-7
y=-3.28
x=1-y
x=1--3.28
y=4.28
