-1x^2 - 2x + 15 = 0

-1( x^2 + 2x - 15 )= 0

-1(x )(x ) ( -3)( +5)=0

-1(x-3) (x+5) = 0

Solve:

-1(x-3)=0

-1(x) (-1)(-3)=0

-1x+3=0

-1x+3-3=0-3

-1x=-3

-1x/-1=-3/-1

x=3

Solve:

-1(x+5) = 0

-1(x) (-1)(+5) = 0

-1x-5=0

-1x-5+5=0+5

-1x=5

-1x/-1=5/-1

x=-5
