-1x^2 + 6x + 16 = 0

-1( x^2 - 6x - 16) = 0

-1(x )(x ) ( -8)( +2)=0

-1(x-8) (x+2) = 0

Solve:

-1(x-8)=0

-1(x) (1)(-8)=0

-1x-8=0

-1x-8+8=0+8

-1x=8

-1x/-1=8/-1

x=-8

Solve:

-1(x+2) = 0

-1(x) (-1)(+2) = 0

-1x-2=0

-1x-2+2=0+2

-1x=2

-1x/-1=2/-1

x=-2
