-1x2 + 4x + 5 = 0

- 1(x2 - 4x - 5 )= 0

-1(x )(x ) ( -5)( +1)=0

-1(x-5) (x+1) = 0

Solve:

-1(x-5)=0

-1(x) (-1)(-5)=0

-1x+5=0

-1x+5-5=0-5

-1x=-5

-1x/-1=-5/-1

x=5

Solve:

-1(x+1) = 0

-1(x) (-1)(+1) = 0

-1x-1=0

-1x-1+1=0+1

-1x=1

-1x/-1=1/-1

x=-1
