4x^2 -18x - 10 = 0
2(2x^2-9x-5)
2(x )(2x ) ( -5)( +1)=0
2 (x-5) (2 x+1) = 0
Solve:
2 (x-5)=0
(2)(x) (2)(-5)=0
2x-10=0
2x-10+10=0+10
2x=10
2x/2=10/2
x=5
Solve:
2(2 x+1) = 0
(2)(2x) (2)(+1)=0
4x+1=0
4x+1-1=0-1
4x=-1
4x/4=-1/4
x=-1/4
