-1x^2 - 4x + 5 = 0
-1(x^2-4x+5)
-1( x )(x ) ( -1)( +5)
-1(x-1)(x+5)=0
Solve:
-1(x-1)=0
(-1)(x) (-1)(-1)=0
-1x+2=0
-x+2-2=0+2
-x=2
-x/-1=2/-1
x=-2
Solve:
-1(x+5)=0
(-1)(x) (-1)(+5)=0
-1x-5=0
-1x-5+5=0+5
-1x=5
-1x/-1=5/-1
x=-5
