The government interred the Japanese in response to the attack on Pearl Harbor, as suspicions about their loyalty and the possibility espionage became a major issue. Many of these worries escalated due to propaganda. Some find the forced relocation of the Japanese similar to that of the Jews in Europe. Note, the Japanese were not murdered by the millions, nor were the Japanese internment camps death camps.
