How does Daniel Leonard feel about his loyalties to both America and England?

In Leonard's letter, he notes that his loyalties are to both England and America. He did, however, feel that England was entitled to more of his loyalty. “He argued the case for submission to the crown and warned of the dangers of rebellion.”
