I'm not an expert on this but globalization means the easy export and consumption of American pop-culture around the world. Popular music, movies, and television is easily shared. This leads to a certain cultural homogenization as people begin to adopt American media into their own lives. An example might be dressing like Madonna or wearing Levis Jeans in a place like Columbia or India.
