Who is Trey from Beastly Movie Tie-in Edition and what is their importance?

Trey is Kyle's best friend and competitor. Trey is not as popular as Kyle, but wishes he could be. He is envious of Kyle and somewhat worships him. Trey is also running for homecoming king and eventually becomes involved with Kyle's girlfriend.
