Major Suarez is a Spanish military officer serving in Puerto Crucero. Suarez offers Sharpe and Harper hospitality when they first arrive but quickly asssits in their apprehension after the arrival of Dregara. Although he assists Dregara in capturing the men, he does not allow Dregara to kill them.
