One of the "Pretty Little Liars," Emily begins as an awkward sixth-grader in the earliest part of the book, trying to steal Ali's part of the flag. She later reveals that she had a crush on Ali at this time. Bisexual, Emily has struggled with her sexuality, and been helped through her struggle by her now-boyfriend, Isaac.
