Who is Bishop Gregoire Balakian from Black Dog of Fate: A Memoir and what is their importance?

Bishop Gregoire Balakian is Peter's grandfather's cousin and his grandmother's uncle. During the genocide, he worked to bring his people hope by building several churches. He was one of the only survivors of the 250 martyrs arrested on April 24th in Constantinople. Balakian wrote a book of memoirs illustrating the horrors he witnessed and of his interviews with key persons of the genocide.
