What assumptions can we make about the end game and the outside world based on the material in Chapter 9 in Enders Game?

In my opinion, Chapter Nine clearly states the effects of media and propaganda on world affairs. People known as "influencers" both motivate and manipulate their followers. Peter and Valentine have become just that... and Valentine, who Ender loves dearly, has joined the game by finally contacting her brother through Colonel Graff.
