The Priceless Jewel

The Priceless Jewel was originally a sermon.

From the Preface:

Originally known as ‘The Jewel in the Garment’, ‘The Priceless Jewel’ was delivered as a sermon in the chapel of King’s College, Cambridge, on the morning of Sunday 15 July 1987, to a congregation consisting mainly of American tourists who had come, presumably, to hear the famous choir rather than to listen to a Buddhist discourse of instruction. I gave the sermon at the invitation of the chaplain, the Rev. Stephen Coles, who conducted the service.
