How do you think people in a country such as Afghanistan cope with the horror that they see on a day-to-basis? Do you think that chidren cope differently than adults? How does Parvana cope?
I think people have no chance but to deal with war. They have to be brave and resilient. They have to go out when they think it is safest and always be alert. I imagine people would have to share a lot. I don't know how children would cope. Children seek safety so they might look to the adults they have in their lives. Parvana is brave and resilient. She keeps hope that she will find her family.
