In the poem To a Louse
In the beginning, how does the speaker feel about the louse? This attitude changes by the end of thr poem...at the end of the poem, how does the speaker feel about the louse?
The narrator is apalled that the louse has chosen its present location. Before that he says that he cared nothing for it at all, and assumed a 'live and let live' type of feeling toward it. However, when he sees it on a fine lady's hat, he becomes disgusted by the louse and upset that it would choose to be there.
