How does the theme of women/ femininity play a part in the Greek play Madea?

In this play the power is given to the woman, in fact the whole play centers around her. The idea is that women have power that men don't always consider or recognize. In this play she certainly does so by controllin her own destiny and thereby impacting other's destinies as well.
