Granny and Jeb mostly appear to be wearing the same clothing, Jethro also, Uncle Jeb always has his handy dandy rifle with him to greet people on his property, and uses it to scare them away. They refer to the pool as a "stone pond". The use of English language as "we" know it, it totally down the tubes with this family. They are trusting people for the most part, however, they still solve problems with wanting to shoot someone who they sense might have not been honest with the family.
