Why do Zelda and Scott move to Paris in the book, Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald?

In 1924, Zelda and Scott move to Paris in hopes of living a cheaper lifestyle. Scott also hopes there will be “Fewer distractions” (160), so that he can focus on publishing his next novel.
