The wall chart should be made on a piece of paper 18 to 24 inches tall and 22 to 36 inches wide. The x-axis contains one initial for every other square, representing the months of the year repeated 5 to 7 times across. The y-axis contains dollar amounts, starting at zero, and going up by $100 or $200 increments. Monthly income and expenses will be plotted on the wall chart, with lines connecting each month's income and each month's expenses to the previous month's numbers.
