Young Goodman Brown What are philosophical allegories in Young Goodman Brown? Asked by bookragstutor 12 years ago 11/28/2012 8:47 AM Last updated by anonymous 12 years ago 2/14/2013 6:30 PM
One of the allegories is that of lost Faith. He doesn't leave Faith, but rather feels as if his Faith is not what is (she) appears. The other allegory is that of the dark woods being sinful and a place of corruption.
