Who did Stanton blame for holding women down as noted in the biography, You Want Women to Vote, Lizzie Stanton?

According to Fritz, "Elizabeth blamed preachers for holding women down." Fritz writes, "And men believed that they were the lords of creation,' Elizabeth said. They claimed that the minds of men and women were different, each suited only to its own 'sphere.'"
