Pooja is on the National Museum’s board of directors. After meeting Feyi at the show where her piece is on display, Pooja commissions a work from her. While discussing the details of the work, Feyi discovers that Pooja lost a daughter to leukemia. She is interested in Feyi’s work because she finds her expression of the chaos of grief relatable. Pooja contributes to the making of the piece she commissioned, and adds a square of lace, which she says belonged to her daughter.
