After June starts making money off of The Last Front, she decides to move apartments. She finds a pricier studio in a nicer area of town. Living here makes June feel as if she has finally achieved everything she has ever wanted. However, the majority of the scenes set in this location centralize June's inactivity, restlessness, and frustration. She primarily devotes her time to lying in bed and scrolling through social media. Although her book has done well, it has not brought her happiness.
