X2 (film)
Who is Logan/ Wolverine from the motion picture, X2?
.
.
The most extraordinary feature of the mutant Wolverine is not his natural genetic mutations, but rather the manmade modifications to his skeleton. As part of a top secret military experiment, Logan's entire skeletal structure was plated with the indestructible metal adamantium. Along with this internal armor, he was given retractable metal claws of one foot in length that project between the knuckles of each hand.
Logan's reinforced structure, genetic mutations, enhanced senses, and ability to heal rapidly make him a powerful force for the X-Men. However, he is often a reluctant participant in the conflict that surrounds him. In both X2 and the first film, as well as in the comic book series, Logan's lack of personal recollections about his origins preoccupies and troubles him. With the exception of some random images that visit him in dreams, he retains no real memories of his past or how he became who he is. He is constantly searching for information and answers that might lead him to self-discovery.
