Why does Caleb come to Casey's room upset in Chapter 47? How does she respond?

Caleb comes to Casey's pottery shed after he and Adam consummated their flirtation. When it was over, Adam ridiculed Caleb and he realized Adam had only been using him for sex. Casey convinces Caleb to let it go and to go back to Phil in Bend and work things out.
