Dorothy calls Palmer by his gang name, Snots. She tells him she is sorry she is not in the gang because of all of the wonderful things they get to do. She mentions nicknames, torturing other kids, dead muskrats, The Treatment as things she is sorry she misses out of by not belonging. She is being sarcastic in her speech and obviously does not want to be part of any group that behaves as Palmer's group does.
