When he asks, Dorothy tells Palmer she did not release Nipper on a beach. Instead, she released him from the car in front of the rail yards. Palmer screams at her, saying the rail yards are where they trap pigeons for the shoot. Dorothy tells him she did not know about all of this because her family does not shoot pigeons and runs off crying. Palmer does not follow her.
