The Hawk is a creature who, when uninformed, acts upon instinct, but can change its view when it sees a different reality. When the hawk first sees Isaiah, she acts upon the hierarchical rules of nature and her own instincts by capturing Isaiah to feed her hungry children. The next time she sees Isaiah, she realizes that he is on her team and is trying to save her children from Lucifer. Thus, she chases and catches Lucifer, instead of chasing Isaiah and Mikayla.
