Women Who Run with the Wolves
What is the author's purpose in the book, Women Who Run with the Wolves?
.

.
This book has multiple purposes. Readers sense the author's personality coming through, which is not only acceptable but welcome within this context. The language is relatively simple, although not simplistic. Presumably, given the education level of the author, this is to facilitate accessibility to the widest possible readership. While it is sad that she has not made use of more complex prose, it is fabulous that she has made the work clear and comprehensible to many women of various educational levels.
Another purpose of this book is to educate readers, who are interested in learning more about the "wild woman archetype." The contents are clearly laid out for informal learning, although the book could be used as a textbook for a university course.
