Junpei uses the metaphors of a round trip ticket or one-way ticket as ways of describing people who live only in the present, or people who plan ahead and worry about not planning ahead. In the end, he describes his own round trip ticket as having blanks for time and destination that he could fill in himself at any time he wishes.
