Where is the one place in which Sammie feels she belongs in the novel, With Teeth?

Sammie's home is one of the only places that she feels a true sense of belonging. Because she does not have any real friends, she relies upon her home life with Monika and Samson to feel safe and secure. Ever since Samson was born, Sammie has worked from home and taken on the majority of the maternal and domestic responsibilities. Therefore, large swathes of the narrative are set within Sammie's and Monika's home.
