Gettysburg, PA represents the turning point in the American Civil War. It was the bloodiest battle in the Civil War, where Robert E. Lee's army met George Meade's Union forces. The Union emerged victorious, but each side suffered heavy casualties. Later made into a National Cemetery, when Lincoln delivered his famous Gettysburg Address.
