How does Alexa assist Dawn in the novel, Winter Fire?

Alexa is the Dark Witchling who killed Tonya at Dawn’s request and attempted to kill Summer twice. She is a cold, dangerous person who will stop at nothing to please Dawn and to win Decker’s affection. In the end, however, Decker is put into a position where he must kill Alexa for her actions.
