What happened in Tonypandy?

While serving as Home Secretary, Churchill had to control many episodes of unrest and people on strike. One particularly hard fought group were Wales miners. During a riot in Tonypandy, a city in England, Churchill had to put troops on standby, unfairly portraying him as hostile to the working class.
