Teddy Lyon’s name reflects his animalistic traits. He is a predator. His first name, Teddy, conjures the image of a bear, but a harmless one. This is how he lures women. He is attractive. He appears to be respectable and harmless despite his size because he has a good job. His last name, Lyon, symbolizes the fact that he is not harmless. He is jealous and territorial and hunts women when they try to leave him.
