What is the main conflict in Willow by Julia Hoban?

The main conflict in the novel revolves around Willow's grief and coming to terms with her guilt over the accident that caused her parent's deaths. A secondary conflict her relationship with her brother, David, which due to the circumstances is very different than it has ever been.
