What Literary devices are used in The Lamb and the Tyger to express the theme?

There are many literaty devices that are used in The Lamb and The Tyger. Most notably are the devices of symbolism. The Tyger, itself, is a symbol of divine inspiration, awe and amazement. The use of Fire is also a symbol in that it represents another theme, that of divine creative inspiration and passion for creating things of beauty. An additional device is that of dialogue. The author uses apostrophes to set off conversations and to allow the narrator to voice questions and comments.

The Lamb represents purity and is an allusion to Christ. He's the ultimate sacrifice. Lambs are also connected to childhood and the innocence of that time.
